Plus extender compatibility with the entire AF area. You are even able to pull smaller objects right into the frame from as close as 0.8m.

The optical design incorporates three ultra-low dispersion elements reducing chromatic and spherical aberrations. There is also a Suoer Spectra coating applied to minimise ghosting and flare reflections to the lens. Furthermore, the nine-blade aperture provides a beautiful bokeh background rendering.
