DESCRIPTION

A fast maximum aperture of f/2.8 and is found across the entire zoom range, helping you shoot at faster shutterspeeds in low light and giving you exceptional depth of field control. The entire zoom range of the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens also features optical image stabilisation (OS). F2.8 maximum aperture and 9-blade rounded diaphragm

The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art zoom lens features a fast maximum aperture of f/2.8. When shooting at maximum aperture the lens creates wide images with a shallow depth of field, great looking bokeh thanks to a 9-bladed aperture. The fast maximum aperture also captures more light to help with low light shooting.

Four low distortion aspherical lens elements

The Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 OS Art lens features 4 aspherical lens elements. These elements undergo a highly precise level of polishing, producing elements thicker in the centre then on the edges. These elements effectively minimizes distortion, provides excellent peripheral brightness, beautiful circular bokeh, and edge to edge sharpness.

Optical image stabilisation

Built-in optical image stabilisation helps to reduce unwanted camera shake/movements to provide sharp pictures when zoomed in or when shooting in low light.

Three SLD glass elements

Three SLD low-dispersion glass elements are used to reduce chromatic aberrations and improve overall image quality.

Super multi-layer coating

A Super multi-layer coating on the lens greatly reduces flare, ghosting, and provides high-contrast for outstanding image quality.

New HSM autofocus motor
