Stepping Motor Quiet AutofocusThe Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S Lens features a powerful stepping motor, that delivers fast, smooth, accurate, quiet autofocus with reduced wobbling making this lens ideal for professional videographers to utilise when recording video.
Special ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) GlassTo produce high quality images requires outstanding glass. The NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S Lens includes an optical glass thats been carefully manufactured by Nikon which usually used with normal optical glass in telephoto zoom lenses to obtain optimum correction of chromatic aberrations.
Nano Crystal CoatingThe special Nano Crystal Coating applied to the Nikon Z 14-30mm lens has been carefully applied to eliminate internal lens element reflections across a wide range of wavelengths. The coating being very effective also eliminates ghosting from occurring which is usually caused by red light and effectively also reduces ghost and flare caused by light coming through the lens diagonally.
Electromagnetic Diaphragm MechanismAn accurate electronic diaphragm or aperture blade control is provided all thanks to its Electronic Diaphragm Mechanism which is situated in the lens. This can be achieved when using auto exposure during continuous shooting.
