The built-in STM stepping motor provides quick, accurate, smooth and quiet autofocus performance is well-suited for both still and video applications. A/M mode (Auto-Priority Manual Mode) makes it possible for you to easily transition between manual and autofocus during AF operation.

Handling and Design

The Nikon Z 70-180mm f/2.8 Lens is also a good choice for use in both video and still applications. In video, it is easy to smoothly transition from the foreground to the background in the frame with little change to the angle of view. With its compact and lightweight design, this lens is perfect for on-the-go photographers, videographers, and content creators. With this lens, you are able to make use of Nikon Z Teleconverters.
