The Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Lens provides photographers with an ultra-wide angle field of view, that's ideal for capturing landscapes, interior photography, and architectural photography; and has been designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras but can also be utilised on APS-C models where it will provide a 30mm equivalent focal length.

Compact and Lightweight for Enhanced Portability

The 20mm f/1.8 G Lens from Sony features an extremely lightweight construction that weighs only 373 g, making it easy for photographers to carry in their bags while transporting. All thanks to an advanced optical design that includes two AA elements is supported by a redefined mechanical system in a G Lens.

Bright f/1.8, 9-Blade Circular Aperture

Powered into this elegant Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Lens is a bright f/1.8, 9-blade circular aperture which excels great in low-light conditions, and also contributes to smooth, creamy bokeh and natural-looking highlights.

Optical Design that Produces Superb Resolution

Packed into the lens are Two AA (Advanced Aspherical) elements and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements that are used to minimise sagittal flare, in order to accurately render scenes with a high degree of sharpness; and to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved clarity. A Nano AR coating has been applied to the front lens element to reduce surface reflections, flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour rendering.

Enhanced XD Linear Motors

The Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Lens provides an impressive optical performance, all thanks to two XD (eXtreme Dynamic) Linear motors that are carefully crafted to keep up with the high-speed capabilities of today's cutting-edge camera bodies. This advanced motors will provide an insanely fast autofocus speed, precision, tracking potential to capture the most dynamic subjects.
