DESCRIPTION

1" Exmor RS CMOS Sensor

The Sony HXR-NX800 4K 1" Sensor NXCAM Camcorder features a 1.0"-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor that employs a stacked design to provide optimal image quality, fast readout speeds along with excellent low-light performance. 4K imagery is produced using 5K oversampling with full-pixel readout.

Longer 20x Optical Zoom

The HXR NX 800 captures views from wide angles to close-ups in tight spaces using the 20x G-Series zoom equivalent to 35mm full-frame 24-480mm.
The zoom range can easily be expanded to 30x in 4K and 40x in HD.

BIONZ XR Processing

Higher frame rates, faster autofocus, improved ATW control, and excellent noise reduction is possible with the implementation of the latest BIONZ XR TM image processor.
5K oversampling with full-pixel readout condenses a large amount of information to stunning UHD 4K60 video.

Advanced AI-Assisted Autofocus

Precise human-subject recognition is achieved by AI-assisted deep learning along with 81% coverage and the fast hybrid autofocus system offers better support for both Subject Recognition AF and real-time tracking.

Pro Broadcast and Film Looks

Presets for S-Cinetone, ITU709, 709tone, HLG Live, HLG Mild, and HLG Natural can further be adjusted with black, matrix, and other adjustments. Footage coming out of the Sony HXR-NX800 can easily be colour-matched to other Sony broadcast and Cinema Line cameras.

Auto Framing

The Auto Framing Function can be activated to easily keep track of the subject. This function automatically recognises humans and adjusts the frame to keep them centred in the frame.
This is especially useful for solo shooters with this function taking the place of manual capture while you engage with the subject.

Flexible Frame Rates

The Sony HXR-NX800 4K 1" Sensor NXCAM Camcorder enables you to capture up to UHD 4K60 video along with high frame rates of up to UHD 4K120 and 1080p HD at 240 fps. Slow motion rates include 4x at 4K30 and 5x at 4K24p with high-speed autofocus to keep your subject sharp.

Built-In Variable ND Filter

The Sony HXR-NX800 4K 1" Sensor NXCAM Camcorder features a variable ND filter with a 1/4 to 1/128 ND range. This filter function enables you to adjust your exposure simply with the twist of a dial.

Full Auto Mode

In fast-paced shoots you can switch to a fully automatic function using a single switch, this automatically adjusts functions including ND, Iris, Gain, Shutter, and White Balance.

Live Streaming

Using a Wi-Fi connection or a wired Ethernet connection you can stream directly from the camera to compatible platforms using RTMP/RTMPS and SRT protocols.

Easy File Transfers

You are able to upload proxy and original clips straight from a memory card to a cloud or FTP server. Simply register a designation server in the camera, and then clips are automatically transferred when recording stops.

Advanced Image Stabilization

Recording Options

Multiple recording options are available to select the best solution for each project. XAVC S-I produces the best quality, 10-bit 4:2:2 4K (QFHD) provides a post-friendly recording. Recording using Intra-Frame H.264. XAVC HS-L (H.265) and XAVC S-L (H.264) provide a choice of 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 with Long GOP recording provides file-saving efficiency and longer recording times. XAVC HS enables the recording of smaller proxy files (up to 16 Mbps) for previewing and editing.

Dual Memory Card Slots

Dual memory card slots can be found that are compatible with both CFexpress Type A cards as well as SD cards.

Wireless Remote Control and Monitoring

The Monitor and Control App can be used with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. With this, you can check your framing and monitor and adjust camera controls.

4-Channel Audio

Uo to four channels for audio recording can be used by combining the MI (multi-interface) shoe and the XLR connectors. Audio dials let you quickly adjust levels for two channels without needing to scroll through a menu.
